You talk with the Zewaj Guide for 30 to 45 minutes, in chapters: deen and practice, character, family, lifestyle, deal-breakers. It asks follow-ups the way a good friend would. The result is a Values Map — the thing people see before they ever see your photo. You can pause and resume any time.
Selfie plus ID, reviewed by humans. Sisters' photos go only to our all-women review team. Then you link your wali and choose his mode: Observer, Gatekeeper, or Proxy. Brothers provide two character references instead. Nothing goes live until this step is complete.
Each day you receive three to five profiles chosen on values — deen, character, plans, timeline. Each card tells you why you match and where you honestly differ. Photos stay blurred. You send a proposal; the other side has 48 hours to respond. Accept, and a seven-day conversation window opens.
Your chat carries the milestone ring at the top: Introduced, Compatibility, Families, Meeting, Decision. The Guide suggests the right structured questions at the right time — finances, children, in-laws, conflict. When it is time to meet, you schedule a chaperoned video call or a public meeting in-app, with your wali included by default.
